Really lovely authentic Italian restaurant with a deli downstairs. Beautiful food and the pastries from downstairs are outstanding. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced for York city centre.

Second visit having been here 2 years ago. Food good with lots of choice. Quick to bring out courses and aligned with our progress. Has an authentic deli counter if you need some Italian inspiration. We pre booked and the place was full so I recommend booking.

The best place for authentic Italian food! It was completely full, with a great atmosphere. Staff were so friendly. Gorgeous Deli on the ground floor.

We were looking for a place for a late lunch and were lucky enough to come across this gem near the York Minster. The seafood mix starter was delicious, the aperol spritz was one of the best we have had in the UK, and the seafood risotto tasted amazing. Mara served us with a smile on her face the entire time and we couldn't have hoped for a better meal. Thank you all for this experience

Little Italy is truly a slice of Italy in York. You could tell me we were actually in Italy and I would believe you, the food is just that good. If you’re in York it would be a waste of a journey not to stop by. Worth booking in advance and there’s also the deli if you’re walking past in the day and fancy a sandwich. 10/10

Superb! Visited here in December 2024 as a couple. Food was superb; amazing starters and we mainly had main pasta dishes and they were lovely. Service was really quick, staff were welcoming and friendly. The Decor was really nice and place was clean. If you like pasta dishes I would highly recommend this place. Remember to book a table because they do get busy.
